In "Historia," Arcángel tells the story of a love that he believes is far from over. He sings to a former lover who is now with someone else, convinced that she wasn't meant for her new partner. He's certain that he's always on her mind, claiming, "You have him by your side, but I'm in your memory." The narrator is so confident in their connection that he believes she can't even be intimate with her new boyfriend without fantasizing about him.

Despite the pain of their separation, which has him staying home and not even enjoying his fancy car, he holds on to the hope that she'll return. He feels they both still need each other. The song is a passionate plea, highlighting all the ways he has influenced her life, from the perfume she wears to her favorite album and the hoodie she never takes off. It's a declaration that their story isn't finished and he's waiting for her, saying, "You know where I am, baby, in case you get a craving."
