What's up in the street this morning?
A feeling nothing's right anymore
People have nothing to do
They're free as the air
They swap frantic glances
She's like I've never seen her before
I'm naked and walking aimlessly
Grass grows on the cobblestones
The air's full of unknown scents
Until yesterday, everywhere, always, only love
I soar and I scream, scream
That dull noise rising from the street
That rumble of the crowd that stirs
It presses me, lifts me
It pulls me from my dreams
Brings me back to reality
