SONG MEANING

HOOKIA is a high-energy reggaeton anthem that celebrates breaking free from a toxic relationship and diving head-first into the thrill of the night. The song follows a fearless woman who, now single, chooses the dance floor over heartbreak. She ignores her “malparido” ex, dresses up after dark, and searches for new adventures, drinks, and flings. Feid and Jory Boy paint a picture of neon lights, loud music, endless refills, and the irresistible pull of freedom as she owns every corner of the club.

Beneath the party vibe, the track highlights self-confidence and living in the moment. The lyrics show her confidence growing with every beat: she’s juquea’ (hooked) on the fun, “puesta pa’l jangueo” (ready to party), and not looking for love—just heat, rhythm, and excitement. HOOKIA is both a tribute to nightlife culture in Medellín and an empowering reminder that sometimes the best way to heal is to dance until sunrise.
