SONG MEANING

Trampa (Spanish for "trap") drops us into a steamy reggaeton scene where the clock has already struck midnight and every beat feels charged with temptation. Jay Wheeler describes how alcohol, weed, and hypnotic twerking blur his senses until he is "hearing voices" of desire. The woman’s curves become a literal trap, lifting his excitement while he fantasizes about removing her clothes, showering her with cash, and turning the car’s leather seats into a private dance floor.

Beyond its teasing lyrics, the track is a bold snapshot of late-night lust and bravado. Wheeler tells the girl’s jealous boyfriend to step aside, celebrates his own confidence, and revels in the playful danger of giving in to raw attraction. Filled with Puerto Rican slang, swaggering rhymes, and an addictive chorus, Trampa is an unapologetic club anthem that invites listeners to surrender to the heat of the moment and risk the consequences of desire.
