"Credimi Ancora" – which means Believe Me Again – feels like stepping into a dramatic chess match where love is the prize and the heart is both king and pawn. Marco Mengoni paints himself as a "crazy king" who keeps rewriting the rules, shifting from nero to bianco, from fire to ice, in order to win back trust. By confessing his own contradictions – lupo e rondine (wolf and swallow), forte e debole (strong and fragile) – he tells his partner that true connection is not about perfection but about daring to leap together even when the board looks confusing.

The chorus is a rallying cry: Prendi un respiro, lasciati andare – take a breath, let go. Mengoni stretches out his hands, begging the listener not to look back, promising he will not let go. The song celebrates transformation, courage, and the exhilarating moment when two people decide to rewrite destiny side by side. It is both a plea and a promise that trusting again can turn a labyrinth into a playground for renewal.
