telepatíatelepathy

Telepatía translates to "telepathy," the communication of thoughts or ideas by means other than the known senses. It's an intriguing and somewhat magical word that stands out in the lyrics.

In the song, Ramón Vega sings, "Te mandé un beso por telepatía / No sé si lo cachaste" (I sent you a kiss by telepathy / I don't know if you caught it). This line beautifully expresses his longing and hope for a connection with his ex-lover, even if it's just through unspoken thoughts and feelings. It adds a touch of poetic fantasy to his emotional plea.

"MaZatLáN :(" is about missing someone after a breakup and holding on to the memory of a trip you took together.

The singer can't stop thinking about her. He remembers a photo they took by the sea and the trip to Mazatlán he says he'll never forget. He wonders whether she still feels the way he does, or whether someone else has already taken his place.

Even small things remind him she's gone: he doesn't laugh at his friends' jokes anymore, and even his dog seems to notice. He sees her online with someone new and wonders if there's another "Romeo" in her life now. Still, he keeps holding on to what they had, wishing they could spend this December together like before.

Ramón Vega is an artist from Venezuela.
