Te Min Voor Anja tells the bittersweet tale of a teenage crush that collides with the hard wall of social class. The boy next door (literally from the end of the street) is head-over-heels for Anja, the rich girl in the big villa. Unfortunately, her snobbish father slams the door on their love because the boy is, in his own words, “een verdomde arme luis” – a darn poor flea.
