CONTENTS SUMMARY
Something Just Like This (Algo Como Esto)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
He estado leyendo libros antiguos

Ella no busca a nadie con poderes sobrehumanos («I'm not looking for somebody with some superhuman gifts») ni un final de cuento de hadas perfecto («some fairytale bliss»). En inglés, la frase «something I can turn to» significa tener un apoyo real, alguien a quien acudir cuando las cosas van mal. Al final, lo que ella pide es simple y terrenal: «Somebody I can kiss» (alguien a quien besar) y «Somebody I can miss» (alguien a quien extrañar).

Don’t Let Me Down (No Me Falles)
Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out

Something Just Like This (Algo Assim)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Eu tenho lido livros antigos

Mas quando ele se olha no espelho, a conclusão é bem direta: "clearly I don't see myself upon that list" (claramente não me vejo nessa lista).

O que ela realmente quer é muito mais simples e real: "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss" (Apenas algo a que eu possa recorrer / Alguém que eu possa beijar).

Something Just Like This (Qualcosa Proprio Così)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Ho letto libri antichi
Le leggende e i miti
Achille e il suo oro
Ercole e i suoi doni

Vuole "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss" (Solo qualcuno a cui rivolgermi / Qualcuno da baciare).

Wake Up Alone (Despertar Solo)
Now I got cars
Now I got clothes
Now I got money
Now I got crowds screamin' my name
Ahora tengo coches
Ahora tengo ropa
Ahora tengo dinero

Something Just Like This (Tıpkı Bunun Gibi Bir Şey)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Eski kitaplar okuyorum

Şarkıcı, Akhilleus, Herkül, Örümcek Adam ve Batman gibi karakterleri okuduğunu ve kendisinin onlar gibi olmadığını söylüyor: "And clearly I don't see myself upon that list" (Ve açıkçası kendimi o listede görmüyorum).

O, "somebody with some superhuman gifts" (bazı insanüstü yeteneklere sahip biri) istemiyor. Onun için önemli olan çok daha basit ve gerçek bir şey: "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss" (Sadece sığınabileceğim bir şey / Öpebileceğim biri). Şarkı, büyük beklentiler yerine, yanı başında duran, güvenilir ve sevgi dolu bir ilişkiye duyulan özlemi dile getiriyor.

Don't Lie (No Mientas)
Picture you and me alone
That's a feeling that I want
Baby, you're the only one
Let me show you how it's done
Imagínate tú y yo a solas

Something Just Like This
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts

Порівнюючи себе з ними, він доходить висновку: "And clearly I don't see myself upon that list" (І я точно не бачу себе в цьому списку).

Вона каже: "I'm not looking for somebody / With some superhuman gifts" (Я не шукаю когось / Із надлюдськими здібностями). Натомість вона прагне чогось простого й справжнього, того, що він може їй дати: "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss" (Просто когось, до кого я можу звернутися / Когось, кого я можу поцілувати).

Don’t Let Me Down
Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out

«Don't Let Me Down» — это не просто танцевальный хит, это настоящий крик о помощи.

Главная фраза, которая повторяется снова и снова, «So don't let me down» (Так не подведи меня), — это мольба, обращённая к любимому человеку. Героиня песни чувствует, что сходит с ума (losing my mind), и вся её надежда только на то, что он будет рядом, когда он нужен больше всего (when I need you the most).

Don’t Let Me Down
Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out

«Don't Let Me Down» від The Chainsmokers та Daya — це не просто танцювальний хіт, а справжній крик душі!

I Love U (Te Amo)
(Ike Ike Dan-cho
Ganbare Ganbare Dan-cho!)
In the Range outside
And I'm thinking about loose ends

Something Just Like This (Jotain Juuri Tällaista)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Olen lukenut vanhoja kirjoja

Hän toteaa suoraan: "clearly I don't see myself upon that list" (en selvästikään näe itseäni tuolla listalla).

Hän haluaa "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss" (Vain jotain, jonka puoleen kääntyä / Jonkun, jota voin suudella).

Something Just Like This (Něco Přesně Takového)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Četl jsem staré knihy
Legendy a mýty

Ona nehledá někoho s nadlidskými schopnostmi – „I'm not looking for somebody / With some superhuman gifts“ (Nehledám někoho / s nějakými nadlidskými dary). Chce prostě „something just like this“ (něco přesně takového).

Something Just Like This (Noe Akkurat Som Dette)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts

Hun sier rett ut: «I'm not looking for somebody / With some superhuman gifts» (Jeg ser ikke etter noen / med overmenneskelige gaver).

Something Just Like This (Midagi Just Sellist)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Olen lugenud vanu raamatuid

Ta jõuab järeldusele: "clearly I don't see myself upon that list" (ilmselgelt ei näe ma ennast selles nimekirjas).

Ta tahab lihtsalt kedagi, kelle poole pöörduda ja keda suudelda: "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss". See on laul täiusliku armastuse leidmisest ebatäiuslikus, normaalses inimeses.

Something Just Like This (Nešto baš ovakvo)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Čitao sam stare knjige
Legende i mitove
Ahilej i njegovo zlato
Heraklo i njegove darove

Nju ne zanima "Some superhero / Some fairytale bliss" (Neki superheroj / Neka bajkovita sreća). Ono što ona zapravo želi je puno jednostavnije i ljepše: "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss" (Samo nešto čemu se mogu okrenuti / Nekoga koga mogu poljubiti).

Something Just Like This (Zoiets als dit)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts

Ze wil "something just like this" (iets precies zoals dit).

Something Just Like This (Noget Lige Som Dette)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts

Something Just Like This (Algo exatamente assim)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts
Estive a ler livros antigos

Ele admite, de forma bastante direta, "clearly I don't see myself upon that list" (claramente não me vejo nessa lista).

Na verdade, ela diz especificamente: "I'm not looking for somebody / With some superhuman gifts" (Não procuro alguém / Com dons sobre-humanos). O que ela realmente quer é algo simples e genuíno, "Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss" (Apenas algo a que eu possa recorrer / Alguém que eu possa beijar).

Something Just Like This
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts

Он поёт: «And clearly I don't see myself upon that list» (И я точно не вижу себя в этом списке).

Она прямо говорит: «I'm not looking for somebody with some superhuman gifts» (Я не ищу кого-то со сверхчеловеческими способностями).

Something Just Like This (Valami pont ilyen)
I've been reading books of old
The legends and the myths
Achilles and his gold
Hercules and his gifts

Aztán jön a csavar! Ő valami sokkal egyszerűbbre és valóságosabbra vágyik: „Just something I can turn to / Somebody I can kiss” (Csak valami, amihez fordulhatok / Valaki, akit megcsókolhatok). A dal valójában arról szól, hogy a hétköznapi, valódi szeretet sokkal többet ér bármilyen szuperképességnél.

Don’t Let Me Down (Ne hagyj cserben)
Crashing, hit a wall
Right now I need a miracle
Hurry up now, I need a miracle
Stranded, reaching out
Összeomlok, falnak ütköztem
Most azonnal csodára van szükségem
Siess már, csodára van szükségem
Ott ragadtam, kinyújtom a kezem

Down to my last match, fire I'll touch just to feel
Why's it easier to burn than it is to heal?
Out in the cold, you have been
I've begged you to come back in

La chanson pose une question poignante : « Why's it easier to burn than it is to heal?
