CONTENTS SUMMARY
Tu Sin Mi (You Without Me)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión
It's terrible to realize that you're leaving
And you don't know the pain
That you've left right inside me
You've taken away the hope

Argentine reggae singer Dread Mar I lays everything on the table in "Tu Sin Mí" (You Without Me). He watches an ex walk away without even looking back: "sin mirar hacia atrás" (without looking back). It stings because he is stuck holding onto all the affection he built up, asking plainly: "¿Y qué hago con mi amor el que era para ti?" (And what do I do with my love, the one that was for you?). The word ilusión pops up repeatedly here. In Spanish, it does not just mean an optical illusion; it means hope, dreams, and joyful expectation. He had built an entire future on the hope that she would belong only to him, and now he is left holding empty plans.

Even with all that sadness, the track is surprisingly honest about why things fell apart. He admits that doubt and resentment crept in ("fue la duda y el rencor") until both realized they simply did not love each other anymore: "ya no nos queríamos" (we didn't love each other anymore). He even admits that the madness of their bond ("la locura de este amor") was no longer doing them any good. It is a smooth reggae groove wrapped around a blunt reality check: sometimes the love you gave just wasn't enough to fill someone up, and walking away is the only move left.

Tú Sí, Yo No (You Do, I Don't)
Ay, tú sí, yo no
La historia interminable sin razón
Ay, tú sí, yo no
Un laberinto de ilusión
Oh, you yes, I no
The never-ending story without reason
Oh, you yes, I no
A maze of illusion

This song is the ultimate breakup anthem for when you're completely done. Dread Mar I isn't just sad; he's drawing a very clear line in the sand. The whole song is built around the simple, powerful phrase "Tú sí, yo no" [You yes, I no]. It's a final answer to a relationship he calls "La historia interminable sin razón" [The endless story without reason] and "un laberinto de ilusión" [a labyrinth of illusion]. He feels like the other person has taken everything from him, even his dreams, leaving him with nothing left to give.

What's great about this track is the shift from feeling powerless to taking control back. He accuses his ex of stealing his dreams and hope, but then he makes a firm decision for the future. He sings that even if he regrets it tomorrow, "Volver ya no será la salida" [Going back will no longer be the way out]. The final blow is when he says she can take all his dreams, "Pero ya no tendrás la persona" [But you will no longer have the person]. He's decided that he himself is the one thing she can't have anymore.

Hoja En Blanco (Blank Page)
It was impossible to get your memory out of my mind
It was impossible to forget that one day I loved you
So much time has passed since the day you left
And there I learned that goodbyes are very sad

Argentine reggae artist Dread Mar I takes on a story of childhood sweethearts pulled apart by time and distance. The narrator remembers the exact moment his love left on a train, packing away all their shared promises. Years later, he returns to their hometown only to hear the crushing news: "alguien me dijo que ya te casaste" ("someone told me you already got married"). The hurt is immediate. He even looks up at the sky for answers, claiming that even the moon tries to hide its face because "hasta la luna sabe que me amaste" ("even the moon knows you loved me").

The song turns into an exchange of bitter truths and forced farewells. The other voice bluntly admits that another love arrived and demands to be forgotten, but the pain lingers on both sides. A standout lyric explains the song's title: "Un día recibí tu carta, quise leerla y era una hoja en blanco" ("One day I received your letter, I wanted to read it and it was a blank sheet"). That blank page symbolizes total silence and a lack of closure. Dread Mar I delivers this dramatic dialogue with his signature vocal style, telling the other person to fly away ("vuela por otros rumbos" ["fly in other directions"]) even while accepting that his own dreams are leaving right along with her.

Nada (Nothing)
Siéntate conmigo aquí
Siéntate, te quiero hablar
Es claro lo que pasó
Es que te dejé de amar
Sit with me here
Sit down, I want to talk to you
It's clear what happened
It's that I stopped loving you

This song is one of the most direct breakup songs you'll ever hear. Dread Mar I, a reggae artist from Argentina, doesn't waste any time. He opens with, "Siéntate, te quiero hablar" (Sit down, I want to talk to you), and then immediately drops the bomb: "Es que te dejé de amar" (It's that I stopped loving you). There's no gentle lead-in; it's just a blunt, honest statement about the end of a relationship.

The chorus is a powerful and repetitive declaration that things are over for good. He sings, "Nada, nada volverá a ser lo que fue" (Nothing, nothing will go back to how it was), calling the past "puras ilusiones" (pure illusions). He seems to be telling both his ex and himself that it's time to accept that the love they had "fue ayer" (was yesterday). It's a sad song, but it's also about the strength it takes to finally admit a difficult truth and move on.

Así Fue - En Vivo (That’s How It Was - Live)
Perdona si te hago llorar, perdona si te hago sufrir
Me he enamorado, me he enamorado, me enamoré
Forgive me if I make you cry, forgive me if I make you suffer
But it's not in my hands
But it's not in my hands
I've fallen in love, I've fallen in love, I fell in love

Ever had an ex show up out of nowhere, expecting to pick things up right where you left off? That's the messy situation at the heart of this song by Argentine reggae artist Dread Mar I. He's talking to a former lover who has returned, but it's too late. He's trying to apologize for the pain this will cause, saying "Perdona si te hago llorar" (Sorry if I make you cry), but he's not taking them back.

The reason is simple and direct: "Me he enamorado" (I have fallen in love) with someone new. He's brutally honest about it, telling his ex, "A ella la quiero, a ti te he olvidado" (I love her, I have forgotten you). He reminds them that they were the one who left without a word, and now he's found a "buen amor" (a good love) who taught him how to move on. He tells them not to cling to an impossible dream—"No te aferres... a un imposible"—because for him, that chapter is completely closed.

Cobarde (Coward)
It's true that I'm
A little cowardly, but you
It is not sentimental
See that you drain my fingers

Dread Mar I opens "Cobarde" with a confession baked into the title: "Es verdad que soy / Un poco cobarde, pero vos" [It's true that I'm / a little cowardly, but you]. He isn't the one falling apart — she is the one going quiet on him, and he calls that the colder hurt: "No es sentimental / Ver que te me escurres por los dedos" [It's not sentimental / to watch you slip through my fingers]. What actually stings is her silence: "No cuidas nunca tus palabras / Es fuerte ver que no me amas / Y no dices nada" [You never mind your words / It's hard to see you don't love me / And you say nothing]. By the last verse the lyric strips down to one repeated word, "Nada" [Nothing] — the song ending exactly where the conversation did, with nothing left to say.

Trata De Entenderme (Try To Understand Me)
Trata de entenderme
Siento que lo nuestro fue un error
Y ahora ya no sigas
Vas a destruirme el corazón
try to understand me
I feel like what we had was a mistake
And now, just stop
You're going to destroy my heart

"Trata De Entenderme" is Dread Mar I's plea to a partner as things fall apart, and he opens by putting the blame on himself: "Siento que lo nuestro fue un error" ["I feel like what we had was a mistake"]. A few lines later he says it even more plainly, "Yo no supe dar todo de mí" ["I didn't know how to give all of myself"], before turning the plea outward and warning "Vas a destruirme el corazón" ["You're going to destroy my heart"] if she keeps holding on to something that's already gone.

The chorus turns the ending into an image instead of an argument. "Hoy vuelan en el viento" ["Today they're flying away in the wind"], he sings, "Todos los sentimientos" ["all the feelings"]. By the end he's not pleading anymore, just asking to leave: "Déjame ir y aceptar" ["Let me go, and let me accept"], "Hacerme amigo de la soledad" ["make friends with loneliness"]. It reads less like a breakup anthem than someone talking himself into acceptance, one line at a time.

Tú Conoces Mis Miserias (You Know My Miseries)
No no
Yeah yeah
No no no no no no
No no
No, no
Yeah, yeah
No, no, no, no, no, no
No, no

The song opens with an argument about kissing. Un beso no es nada [a kiss is nothing], Dread Mar I decides, Si no es por amor [if it isn't out of love], and from there the verses go soft and weightless: Rendido a tus brazos [surrendered in your arms], Volando entre nubes de cristal, de cristal [floating through clouds of crystal, of crystal]. That is a lot of floating for a reggae song about a broken heart, and it turns out to be the setup.

The chorus lands somewhere much less pretty. Ya has armado un par de veces este roto corazón [you have put this broken heart back together a couple of times] is a strange thing to thank someone for, and he means it as the compliment. The title says it more bluntly: Tú conoces mis miserias [you know my miseries], offered as relief rather than confession, because Porque ya me has visto mal [because you have already seen me at my worst] means there is nothing left to perform. Then Ya tú sabes cómo actuar [you already know how to act], and the band repeats that whole chorus five times to the end of the track. Say a thing enough times and maybe you believe it.

Tu Sin Mi (Ты без меня)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión

Tu Sin Mi (Toi sans moi)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión
Tu as emporté l'illusion

Te has llevado la ilusión
É terrível perceber que você vai
E você não sabe a dor
Que deixou bem em mim
Levou embora a ilusão

Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión
Je hrozné cítit, že odcházíš
A ty neznáš tu bolest

Chytlavý reggae rytmus skvěle vyvažuje tenhle smutný text, takže se ti jednotlivé fráze dostanou do hlavy okamžitě.

Tu Sin Mi (Sinä ilman minua)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión
On kamalaa huomata, että lähdet
Etkä tiedä sitä tuskaa
Jonka olet jättänyt minuun
Veit mukanasi toiveen

Argentiinalaisen Dread Mar I:n reggae-hitti Tu Sin Mí käy suoraan asiaan ilman kiertelyä: toinen osapuoli pakkaa laukkunsa ja jättää jälkeensä melkoisen sotkun. Laulaja tuskailee heti alussa, miten kamalaa on katsoa toisen lähtöä: "Es terrible percibir que te vas" ("On kauheaa huomata, että lähdet"). Suhteen hiipumisen syyksi paljastuvat epäilykset ja kauna, kunnes kumpikin joutui myöntämään totuuden: "Ya no nos queríamos" ("Emme enää rakastaneet toisiamme").

Tu Sin Mi (Du ohne mich)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión

Tu Sin Mi (Ty Beze Mnie)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión
To straszne czuć, że odchodzisz
I nie znasz tego bólu
Który zostawiłaś we mnie
Zabrałaś ze sobą nadzieję

Argentyński artysta Dread Mar I łączy tu jamajskie rytmy reggae z czystym, miłosnym żalem.

To świetny kawałek do nauki prostych, codziennych hiszpańskich zwrotów o relacjach i rozstaniach.

Tu Sin Mi (Jij Zonder Mij)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión

Tu Sin Mi (Sensiz)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión
Gittiğini hissetmek çok korkunç
Ve acıyı bilmiyorsun
Tam içimde bıraktığın
Umudumu alıp götürdün

Arjantinli reggae sanatçısı Dread Mar I, Tu Sin Mí parçasında ayrılığın hemen ardından gelen o boşluk hissini anlatıyor.

Tu Sin Mi (Du Utan Mig)
Es terrible percibir que te vas
Y no sabes el dolor
Que has dejado justo en mí
Te has llevado la ilusión

Principio Y Fin (Beginning And End)
Dame en la noche
La luz de mi vida
Muéstrame al amanecer
La estrella que guia
give me in the night
Light of my life
show me at dawn
the guiding star

This song feels like a midnight prayer set to reggae. Dread Mar I is talking straight to Jah Jah (a name for God in reggae culture) and asking for help to keep going. When he sings “Dame en la noche la luz de mi vida” [Give me in the night the light of my life], you can almost see someone in the dark, literally asking for a light so they do not feel lost. Then in the next line, “Muéstrame al amanecer la estrella que guía” [Show me at dawn the star that guides], he moves from night to morning, from confusion to direction. It is simple language, but you feel that he really wants guidance for every part of the day.

The heart of the song is how completely he depends on this divine energy. He keeps repeating “Jah Jah, dame fuerza para continuar” [Jah Jah, give me strength to continue], like a mantra, almost stubborn, as if he refuses to stop asking. When he admits “Si me siento triste, tú alegras mi vida” [If I feel sad, you make my life happy] and “Si no tengo fuerza, tú eres mi energía” [If I have no strength, you are my energy], it is very direct: without Jah, he has nothing in his emotional or physical battery. The strongest idea is in “Tú eres principio, principio y final” [You are the beginning, beginning and end]. For him, God is not just help in hard times, but the start and the finish of everything. It is a short lyric, but it feels like one long, honest conversation with the only presence he fully trusts.

No Te Amo (I Don't Love You)
Si me decís que me quieres
No pretendas que te quiera
Pues de mi corazón se ha ido
Eso que por ti sentía
if you tell me you love me
Don't pretend that I love you
Well, my heart has gone
What I felt for you

Dread Mar I, the reggae master from Argentina, brings us a song about moving on from a past love. It's a pretty direct message, actually! He's telling someone, "Si me decís que me quieres, No pretendas que te quiera" [If you tell me you love me, Don't pretend that I love you].

He's clear that the feelings he once had are gone: "de mi corazón se ha ido Eso que por ti sentía" [that which I felt for you has left my heart]. The chorus, "Es que hoy, hoy, no te amo" [It's that today, today, I don't love you], really drives the point home. He acknowledges that their love was beautiful, even if it didn't last long, and now it's just a memory. He also wishes them well, saying, "Yo sé que encontraras El amor que más te quiera" [I know you will find The love that loves you most], which is a kind way to end things. He's changed, too: "Yo ya no soy el que era" [I am no longer who I was].

Castigo (Punishment)
Hypocrisy has no name
And the heart of the one who hides it is bad
Every lie shines with malice
And poor the path of that man

Dread Mar I, an artist from Argentina, brings us "Castigo," a song that really calls out hypocrisy and deceit. He's not holding back, talking about how "La hipocresía no tiene nombre" [Hypocrisy has no name] and how evil the heart is that hides it. It's all about how lies shine with malice, and the path of someone who lives that way is truly poor.

He asks, "Y cuánto tiempo ya habrás mentido / Y cuánto daño hecho sin sentido" [And how long have you been lying / And how much senseless harm have you done?]. It's a direct challenge to those who hurt others with a heart that's lost its way. Dread Mar I gives a blunt warning: "O dejas esa vida o caes preso / Preso de tu alma, de tus sentidos / Sufriendo así hoy tu castigo" [Either you leave that life or you fall prisoner / Prisoner of your soul, of your senses / Suffering your punishment today]. It's a powerful message about facing the consequences of your actions, not from an outside force, but from within yourself.

Papel Y Vida (Paper And Life)
Today I start to write on paper
The things that I have lived in yesterday
And what I keep here in my sincere heart
And so I feel it and I will live it

This song feels like opening someone’s private notebook. In “Papel Y Vida,” Dread Mar I sits down to write and literally tells you what he’s doing: “Hoy me pongo a escribir sobre el papel” [“Today I start writing on the paper”]. He wants to put on the page “las cosas que he vivido en el ayer” [“the things I have lived in the past”] and what he keeps “aquí en mi corazón sincero” [“here in my sincere heart”]. The whole song is about using writing to turn his life and feelings into something clear and honest, not dramatic or fake, just what he really is.

There’s also a strong sense of quietly stubborn optimism. He talks about learning to look at “lo que está bien para mí o está mal” [“what is good for me or is bad”] and deciding to continue firmly with his life. When he repeats “Sé que muchas veces más escribiré / y mi alma en el papel la dejaré” [“I know many more times I will write / and I will leave my soul on the paper”], it sounds like a promise to keep growing by writing, and to keep chasing his dreams “sin prisa” [“without hurry”]. It is a calm kind of courage: no rush, no big speech, just a man, his pen, his paper, and the decision to stay true to himself.

Sufro (I Suffer)
You have already looked at me with your eyes of love
Although today I feel so far away
I couldn't resist all the temptation
To have you here by my side

Dread Mar I's "Sufro" is such a relatable song about that awful feeling when you know a loved one has to leave, and you're stuck waiting for them to come back. He starts by remembering how they looked at him with "tus ojos de amor" [your eyes of love], but now those eyes feel so far away. He just couldn't resist the temptation to have them by his side, but he knows there's a time coming when "tú tendrás que irte" [you will have to leave].

And that's where the suffering really begins! He talks about the "maldita espera" [damned wait] that never ends, making him desperate. He's thinking about them constantly, wondering where they are since "Tan lejos estás de mí y nada sé de vos" [You are so far from me and I know nothing about you]. It's a really honest look at how love can bring people together, but also pull them apart, leaving you with nothing but thoughts and that never-ending wait.
