"Oye Mujer" takes the bounce of traditional cumbia rhythms, mixes them with synthesizers into a style Raymix proudly announces as electrocumbia, and delivers a pure confession of being head over heels. The whole track is Raymix and Colombian guest Juanes talking straight to the woman who turned their worlds upside down. Right from the jump, the singer admits he has zero defense against love: "No tengo explicación / Me hundo en la emoción" ("I have no explanation / I sink into the emotion"). He even shouts out his home base, "Desde San José El Vidrio, Estado de México" ("From San José El Vidrio, State of Mexico"), giving this danceable club track a grounded hometown stamp before Juanes joins in with sweet, flowery compliments like seeing "la miel / Y un pétalo en tu piel" ("honey / And a petal on your skin").
What makes the chorus stick in your head is how simple the plea actually is. Despite weeping in the past—"Lo que lloré por ti" ("How much I cried for you")—he is not asking for the moon. He just wants one tender moment: "Yo solo quiero darte un beso y no más / Decirte lo que siento / Cobijarte entre mis brazos y ya" ("I only want to give you a kiss and nothing more / Tell you what I feel / Wrap you in my arms and that's it"). Notice that warm verb cobijarte: it comes from cobija (blanket), so he literally wants to blanket her in his embrace. It is sweet, dramatic, and totally unapologetic about begging for a hug on the dance floor.
"Amor Tóxico" is an electro cumbia track by Mexican producer Raymix with Grupo K-L, about a relationship that swings wildly between good and bad.
The singer describes a love that feels toxic: one day it makes them happy, the next day it hurts. They fight, then they make up, then they hate each other, over and over. The song calls this cycle unfair and cruel, since hurting the person you love should never be normal.
The chorus argues for something better: love should feel like an illusion turned into a blessing, not a prison. It is a simple, danceable reminder that real love should not come with constant pain.
"La Custodia" is Raymix's plea to parents caught in a custody fight. The verses picture two people arguing over who's to blame, while the children in the house hear every word and quietly absorb it.
The chorus turns the focus away from the adults and onto the kids, who cry in silence while their parents fight. Raymix's message is simple: keep the arguments private, because children carry none of the blame for their parents' problems, only the pain of watching them fight.
"Primer Beso" (First Kiss) is Raymix's electrocumbia celebration of a first kiss and the rush of falling in love.
The singer is pure joy, wanting to shout and sing from the excitement. He remembers how sweet his partner's lips were and the look in her eyes right before it happened, then the moment itself: their first kiss.
The song ends on a slower, romantic note, picturing the two of them close together under the moon as witness, the warmth of that kiss carrying them away.
Raymix's "¿Dónde Estarás?" [Where Could You Be?] is a heartfelt plea from someone longing for a lost love. The singer feels time slipping away, with the world turning "vuelta y vuelta" [round and round] while they're stuck, consumed by loneliness. It's a really relatable feeling of being left behind while life goes on for everyone else.
He's so desperate to reconnect that he imagines climbing "mil montañas" [a thousand mountains] just to see her again, and dreams of even a single day together. He wants his love to be heard "más allá de mi habitación" [beyond my room], showing how deeply he feels and how much he wants to share that emotion. It's a beautiful, yearning song that really makes you feel his desire to find that special person.
Have you ever felt stuck in a ridiculous love triangle? Raymix's "El Círculo" [The Circle] totally gets it! He kicks off by wondering why we love to suffer and cry, making things super complicated. He's like, "Yo me pregunto porque será / Nos gusta sufrir nos gusta llorar / Complicamos las cosas hasta el más allá" [I wonder why it is / We like to suffer, we like to cry / We complicate things to the extreme]. He just doesn't understand why we're not happy and why we always love someone who doesn't love us back, ignoring the person who does care.
He describes this frustrating cycle perfectly: he wants to be with a girl, but she likes some other guy. And that guy is into a different girl who, ironically, is totally into Raymix! He sings, "Me busca a mí / Me quiere a mí / Muere por mí / No me interesa su amor" [She looks for me / She loves me / She dies for me / I'm not interested in her love]. It's a never-ending loop! He just wants to make things easy: "Te amo, me amas / Tan simple como eso" [I love you, you love me / As simple as that]. He's ready to break this "tonto Círculo vicioso de amor" [silly vicious circle of love]. Can you relate?
