SONG MEANING

Una Raya Más is a swagger-filled breakup anthem where Mexican rap star Santa Fe Klan and reggaeton heavyweight Nicky Jam turn heartache into a late-night party. The title literally means “one more stripe,” a nod to the idea that this new betrayal is just another mark on an already well-worn skin. Over a gritty beat they catch their ex red-handed, vent about being swapped for “just anybody,” and admit that liquor is their quick fix for the pain. Yet even while they pour another shot, the chorus flexes self-confidence: “Ni que fueras el aire, pa’ que el mundo se me acabe” – you’re not the air I breathe, so my world is not ending.

Under the bravado lies a sharp warning. The artists expose a love that cared more about wallets than feelings, declaring that when their ex comes crawling back, the door will be locked. It is a mix of raw vulnerability and streetwise pride, packed with Mexican slang, Caribbean flow, and catchy hooks that invite listeners to sing, dance, and heal all at once. If you have ever toasted to a toxic ex while promising yourself better days ahead, this track will feel like your own personal soundtrack.
