Tananai is the stage name of Alberto Cotta Ramusino, an Italian singer-songwriter and producer born in Milan in 1995. The name comes from Milanese slang for a playful troublemaker, and that cheeky, heart-on-sleeve energy runs through his music. He first turned heads at the 2022 Sanremo Festival, where his entry finished dead last yet became a viral radio smash, and he returned the next year with the acclaimed ballad Tango.
Storie Brevi is his first official studio team-up with Annalisa, one of Italy's biggest pop voices. Released in June 2024, it was quickly crowned a song of the summer, with the two singers weaving their voices together over a breezy, sun-soaked beat that gives the track its dreamy late-90s feel.
