Fanny Lu, born Fanny Lucía Martínez Buenaventura on February 8, 1973, in Santiago de Cali, Colombia, is a celebrated Colombian singer, songwriter, and actress known for her vibrant Latin pop and Tropipop music. With a degree in industrial engineering from the University of the Andes, she transitioned from acting and TV hosting to music, gaining fame with her 2006 debut album Lágrimas Cálidas. Hits like "No Te Pido Flores" and "Tú No Eres Para Mí" topped charts across Latin America and solidified her place in the music scene.
