estación — season / station

Estación can mean “season” or “station,” depending on the context. In the song, “mi estación” poetically refers to a new season or chapter of life, as the singer feels ready to pursue his dreams with passion.

“Este Es Mi Año” means “This Is My Year.” Tercer Cielo looks back on a year filled with both good and bad experiences. The singer admits that some moments went wrong, saying “todo me sale al revés” [everything turns out the opposite way], but he also says he learned from what happened. He keeps “algunas fotos” [some photographs] as memories, so the past is not erased. It becomes something he can remember while moving forward.

The song then turns from reflection to determination. “Estoy listo para vivir con pasión” [I am ready to live with passion], without fear, and “voy en busca de mi sueño” [I am going after my dream]. The repeated title sounds like a personal promise: the new year will be a time to keep growing, face life with all his strength, and pursue what he wants. There is a simple, upbeat confidence in the idea that yesterday’s mistakes are behind him and the next chapter is his chance.
