WANESSA

Wanessa, born Wanessa Godói Camargo on December 28, 1982, is a Brazilian pop singer and songwriter from Goiânia, Brazil. She is the daughter of the famous sertanejo singer Zezé Di Camargo, and she launched her own career as a teenager in the early 2000s. "Sem Querer" appears on her self-titled 2002 album and became one of her best-known early hits, a heartfelt pop ballad about apologizing to someone she loves after an unintentional mistake. Over her career Wanessa has moved between romantic pop and dance music, becoming one of Brazil's most recognizable female pop voices.
