Rauf & Faik are a Russian music duo known for their unique blend of trap and melodic vocals, capturing audiences with their emotional and powerful sound. Originating from Russia, the brothers have quickly gained recognition for their heartfelt lyrics and captivating performances.
Their music often explores themes of love, introspection, and personal growth, making them a standout act in the contemporary Russian music scene. With their distinct style and vocal harmonies, Rauf & Faik continue to inspire listeners and contribute to the evolution of modern Russian music.
"Колыбельная (kolibel’naya)" literally means lullaby, and Russian pop duo Rauf & Faik build the track around late-night memories that feel sleepy and intimate. The narrator repeatedly begs his partner to wrap him in safety: "Возьми меня, люби меня, укрой / Той пеленой, что мы с тобой создали вдвоём" ("Take me, love me, cover me / With that shroud we created together"). The word пелена (pelena) usually means a veil, shroud, or protective film, so he is picturing the two of them hiding under a private bubble away from the rest of the world. Then come the clumsy, grounded snapshots of young romance: walking through parks, fighting, writing down memories, and tiptoeing down the stairs by бабушкина дверь ("grandma's door").
There is a sweet awkwardness to how the story unfolds. He walks her home at sunrise while the birds sing, only for her to fall asleep right on his lap ("Ты засыпала на моих коленях") while he knocks on her grandma's front door. He carries her down the hallway while she drowsily murmurs "Не вставай, малыш" ("Don't get up, baby"). Even when doubt creeps in with "И где в них доброта?" ("And where is the kindness in them?") as he stares into her eyes under the streetlights, he still offers to sing her to sleep. It is dramatic and clingy in the way only teenage pop can get away with, but it works because of those specific apartment-stairwell details.
Twin brothers Rauf & Faik kick things off with a mood of pure regret in "Детство (Detstvo)" (Childhood). The track mixes English hooks about wanting to run and hide ("And I wanna hide") with blunt Russian verses where the singer officially calls it quits. He tells his partner to stay quiet and just look him in the eyes: "Теперь прошу ты пожалуйста молчи / Смотри в глаза и ничего не говори" (Now I ask you please be quiet / Look in my eyes and say nothing). He decides their connection is over with "наша речь не о любви" (our conversation is not about love) and tells her to simply run away and forget him ("Просто убегай / И не вспоминай").
What makes the chorus stick in your head is the flash of teenage nostalgia. He looks back at being sixteen years old, exhausted from kissing ("По шестнадцать, устали целоваться"), and remembers his ex taking his t-shirt ("Ты взяла мою футболку"). Then he immediately undercuts the sweet memory by saying it was completely pointless ("в этом нету толку" / there is no point in this). He beats himself up for ever catching feelings in the first place, calling himself a fool: "Это я дурак, ошибался / Зачем я так влюблялся?" (I was a fool, I made a mistake / Why did I fall in love like that?). It is a direct, nostalgic track about teenage romance gone sour.
Ever felt stuck chasing someone while totally ignoring the people who actually liked you? That exact mess is at the center of "Я Люблю Тебя Давно" (I Have Loved You for a Long Time) by Russian pop duo Rauf & Faik. The narrator compares his endless search for love to gambling: "Я играю в казино" (I'm playing in a casino), taking risky bets on someone who keeps vanishing into thin air ("Пропадаешь всё равно" / You disappear anyway). Life feels repetitive and exhausting, like replaying the same dramatic movie over and over ("Каждый день одно кино" / Every day the same movie).
Then comes the brutally honest confession in the verse. He admits he is fixated on someone who is not even his ideal ("Ты не мой идеал" / You're not my ideal), while wondering out loud why people always fall for the wrong crowd: "Почему все влюбляются / Не в тех, кто их любил?" (Why does everyone fall in love with those who didn't love them?). He name-drops past flames to prove his point: Nastya loved him, but he forgot her ("Меня любила Настя / А я её забыл"); Lara loved him, but he refused to forgive her ("Меня любила Лара / А я её не простил"). Everyone around him calls him the bad guy ("Все говорят какой плохой я"), yet he keeps running straight back toward the pain of unrequited love.
Have you ever waited until after a breakup to finally say what you really felt? In "Я Тебя Люблю (Ya Tebya Lyublyu)" (which means I Love You), Russian pop duo Rauf & Faik dwell entirely in that painful hindsight. The narrator admits that when his partner visited, he ended up hurting her: "Приходила ко мне делал больно тебе" (You came to me, I hurt you). He genuinely did not realize her worth back then, confessing "И не знал я тогда, как ты мне дорога" (And I didn't know back then how dear you were to me). Now that they are separated, he is left anxiously waiting for a message that might never arrive.
The core of the track is blunt and desperate. Over repetitive, catchy choruses, he loops the exact same realization: "С тобой хотел прожить всю жизнь / Сейчас я потерял тебя, не знаю, ли верну" (I wanted to live my whole life with you / Now I lost you, don't know if I'll get you back). He even switches straight into English to plead "My love, my lover, I belong to you", showing how frantic he is to get the message across in any language possible. It is a straight shot of regret about realizing what you had only after losing it.
Ever found yourself desperately stalling for time at the end of a relationship? In "5 Минут (5 Minut)", Russian pop duo Rauf & Faik obsess over a tiny window of conversation before a breakup happens. The singer repeats the dilemma over and over: "Ещё пять минут поговорю я с тобой, я не знаю, что мне делать / Ещё пять минут, и я расстанусь с тобой" ("I'll talk to you for five more minutes, I don't know what to do / Five more minutes and I'll break up with you"). It is blunt, anxious, and stuck in a loop.
Instead of making peace with the split, he clings to past promises and physical memories. He reminds his partner, "Ты же сказала, что наша любовь цвести не перестанет" ("You said our love would never stop blooming") and asks, "Помнишь мой запах? Я твоего никогда не забуду" ("Do you remember my scent? I will never forget yours"). By the bridge, panic fully takes over with the repeated demand, "Осталось пять минут, скажи, что влюблена" ("There are five minutes left, say that you are in love"). It is a dramatic, last-ditch plea to hear words that probably are not true anymore.
[No te levantes, cariño].
This track brings Russian pop duo Rauf & Faik together with singer NILETTO for a bittersweet story about a romance that is slipping away. The narrator kicks things off by admitting he has been dating someone for six months, singing "Я не похож на красивого принца" ("I don't look like a handsome prince"). Even with rough patches—or what he calls "в душе непогода" ("bad weather in the soul")—he keeps hoping for clear skies. Then comes the gut punch: running through the pouring rain with flowers, only to find out she got soaked with someone else ("Оказалось ты промокла с кем-то другим").
Instead of exploding with rage, the chorus leaves an open door. They tell her that whenever she feels down or lonely, she should go back to the spot where they used to watch the sunset together: "Если тебе будет грустно / Приходи туда где провожали мы закат" ("If you feel sad, come to where we watched the sunset"). The phrase "расскажи о том что наболело" literally translates to "tell about what has become painful," but it works as a common Russian idiom for getting something heavy off your chest. It is a catchy, rain-soaked pop tune about holding onto fond memories even when trust gets broken.
Rauf & Faik drop us right into a tiny, cramped apartment with "Вечера" (Evenings), and the setting tells the whole story. The track opens with the memory of living together in a khrushchyovka (хрущевка), a type of low-cost, Soviet-era concrete apartment building known for having very tight quarters. The claustrophobia practically jumps out of the line "В хрущевке мы вдвоём, и тесно кофе выпито" (In the khrushchyovka the two of us, cramped and the coffee is drunk). When the power cuts out ("Электричество все отключили" / They turned off all the electricity), burning the last remaining candles becomes a direct symbol for a dying relationship: "Я зажёг все последние свечи / Так угасла вся наша любовь" (I lit all the last candles / That is how all our love died out).
What makes the track stick with you are the small, everyday details left behind in the dark. Instead of grand romantic drama, the narrator is stuck staring at "мотылёк и дым от сигарет" (a moth and cigarette smoke) and withered flowers that still smell like his ex ("Потускневшие цветы, в которых запах твой" / Faded flowers that hold your scent). You get the feeling he is completely exhausted by the breakup, especially when he admits "Моя жизнь мне теперь нипочём" (I don't care about my life anymore) after she grew tired of his words. It is moody, direct, and built out of specific, fading memories.
This song is a massive confession of regret after a breakup. The singer is stuck in a loop, thinking about what he should have said and done differently. He admits he didn't realize how much his partner meant to him until it was too late, singing, "Приходила ко мне делал больно тебе / И не знал я тогда, как ты мне дорога" (You came to me, I hurt you / And I didn't know then how dear you were to me). It's a classic case of not appreciating someone until they're gone.
The whole track feels like an emotional spiral. The chorus, "Я люблю тебя, с тобой хотел прожить всю жизнь / Сейчас я потерял тебя, не знаю, ли верну" (I love you, I wanted to live my whole life with you / Now I've lost you, I don't know if I'll get you back), is repeated over and over. It's like he can't think about anything else. He's just replaying this one huge regret, hoping for a sign from her that it's not too late.
Der Erzähler zählt die letzten Momente herunter: „Ещё пять минут поговорю я с тобой“ (Noch fünf Minuten rede ich mit dir) und gesteht völlig überfordert „Я не знаю, что мне делать“ (Ich weiß nicht, was ich tun soll).
Я твоего никогда не забуду“ (Erinnerst du dich an meinen Duft?
This song feels like a beautiful daydream. Rauf & Faik mix English and Russian to create a plea for freedom and a celebration of simple happiness. The English chorus, "I want to be free without my pain," sets a really clear mood of wanting to escape something difficult. But the Russian verses fill in what they want to escape to: a world of warmth, love, and wonder.
They paint a scene with "Пальмы, песок" (Palm trees, sand) and describe the pure joy of being with someone special: "Счастья приток / Ощущаю когда я рядом с тобой" (An influx of happiness / I feel it when I'm next to you). The song encourages you to forget negativity, saying, "Ты забудь что такое депрессия" (You forget what depression is), and instead see the world as a miracle. It all comes back to a simple, powerful request that ties into the song's title, "Дом" (Home): "Просто будь рядом со мной" (Just be by my side).
Rauf & Faik's "Там, Где Мы С Тобой" (Tam, Gde Mi S Toboi) is a really interesting blend of emotions, isn't it? The English lines, "I don't wanna go away, listen / Baby I don't wanna stay / Broken every day, broken every day," set a pretty melancholic tone right from the start. It feels like someone is caught in a loop of pain, not wanting to leave a situation but also not wanting to stay because they're "broken every day."
But then the Russian lyrics introduce a powerful contrast. (The whole world doesn't know what love is, love) is a bold statement! It's like the singers believe they have a unique understanding of love, and they're going to "покажем все, увидим все" (show everything, see everything) with their partner. The idea of a place "Там, где мы с тобой, никто не побывает вновь" (There, where we are together, no one will ever visit again) suggests a private, almost sacred space they're building. It's a journey to create a love so strong, it defies the world's understanding and even keeps dreams alive: "Там, где мы с тобой, никто не забывает снов" (There, where we are together, no one forgets dreams). It's a beautiful, almost defiant, vision of love against a backdrop of personal brokenness.
Místo hořkosti nabízí bezpečné útočiště pro chvíle, kdy se dívka bude cítit prázdná (Если тебе будет пусто [Když ti bude prázdno]). Zvláštní pozornost si zaslouží obrat бывала в душе непогода (v duši bývalo špatné počasí), kde slovo непогода [nepohoda / nečas] skvěle popisuje vnitřní mraky a neshody ještě předtím, než začne skutečný déšť v textu.
Laul algab lootusrikkalt reaga "Вот, мы встречались с тобою полгода" (Näe, me käisime pool aastat), kuigi hinges oli juba siis vahel tormine. Laulja tunnistab ausalt: "Я не похож на красивого принца" (Ma ei näe välja nagu ilus prints). Siis aga lendab sisse korralik draama. NILETTO laulab valusast hetkest vihmas: "Под дождём бежал к тебе с букетом / Оказалось ты промокла с кем-то другим" (Jooksin vihmas sinu poole lillekimbuga / Tuli välja, et said kellegi teisega märjaks).
Wykonawcy rzucają zaproszenie do przeszłości: „Если тебе будет грустно / Приходи туда где провожали мы закат” (Jeśli będzie ci smutno / Przyjdź tam, gdzie żegnaliśmy zachód słońca) oraz dodają proste „Не забывай меня” (Nie zapominaj o mnie).
Viskas prasideda nuo prisiminimų apie pusmetį trukusius santykius, kai dainininkas atvirai pripažįsta: „Я не похож на красивого принца“ (Aš nepanašus į gražų princą). Nors širdyje kartais kildavo audros, jis vis tiek tikėjo šviesia ateitimi ir džiaugėsi vėl pajutęs meilę.
