BLACKPINK isn't messing around in "Kill This Love"! This song is a powerful anthem about ending a toxic relationship that feels amazing one minute and terrible the next. They describe a love that starts with an "천사 같은" (angel-like) face but has a devilish side, where every high is followed by a painful low. The lyrics paint a picture of being a "딱한 감정의 노예" (pitiful slave to emotion), stuck in a cycle that you know is bad for you but can't seem to escape.
But then, the song completely shifts gears. Instead of staying weak, they decide to fight back and take control. The message is clear: you have to end the pain before it destroys you. They make the tough decision that "사랑의 숨통을 끊어야겠어" (I need to end this love). It's a dramatic, explosive declaration that sometimes the only way to save yourself is to be the one to pull the plug, summed up in the final, blunt lines: "Gotta kill this love / Before it kills you too."
BLACKPINK is back and they want everyone to know they're still on top. The song kicks off with the line, "컴백이 아냐 떠난 적 없으니까" (It's not a comeback, 'cause we never left), making it clear they believe they never lost their spot. They're so confident in their success that they tell everyone else to just give up when they arrive: "When we pull up, you know, it's a shutdown / 간판 내리고 문 잠가" (When we pull up, you know, it's a shutdown / Take down the sign and lock the door). It's a bold way of saying the competition is over.
The whole song is full of these kinds of flexes. They brag about their wealth with lines about Lamborghinis and VVS diamonds, and even say they don't buy luxury items, they "request it". They directly address anyone who doubts them, saying "Praying for my downfall, many have tried, baby". The lyrics are all about their power, fame, and shutting down anyone who gets in their way. It's a super confident track that announces their continued dominance in the music world.
A parte em inglês deixa o conflito ainda mais direto: “His love is my favorite” [o amor dele é o meu favorito], mas “you plus me sadly can be dangerous” [você mais eu, infelizmente, pode ser perigoso].
Welcome to BLACKPINK's explosive debut song, "BOOMBAYAH"! This is a pure party anthem built on massive confidence. The members introduce themselves as girls who are "so hot, I need a fan" and know exactly what they want: "I don't want a boy, I need a man." They describe making an entrance so powerful that "문을 박차면 모두 날 바라봄" (When I kick the door open, everyone looks at me). The song is full of fun, exaggerated boasts about being effortlessly attractive and the center of attention.
But it's not just about them. The song is also an invitation to a wild night out. They spot someone they like and declare, "정말 반했어 오늘 밤 / 너와 춤추고 싶어" (I've really fallen for you tonight / I want to dance with you). The energy just keeps building with rebellious lines like "Middle finger up, F U pay me" and the promise that if anyone tries to stop them, "I'm gonna go brrrr RAMBO." The whole point is to let go completely, as they chant in the finale: "오늘은 맨 정신 따윈 버리고 / 하늘을 넘어서 올라 갈 거야" (Today, let's throw away our sober minds / We're going to go beyond the sky). It's a call to dance, have fun, and feel unstoppable.
Es la encarnación de su lema: "Black 하면 Pink 우린 예쁘장한 Savage" (Cuando dices Black, decimos Pink, somos salvajes y bonitas).
“만만한 걸 원했다면” [se você queria alguém fácil de enfrentar], é melhor esperar, porque vem o refrão: “Hit you with that 뚜두뚜두” [vou te atingir com esse tudu-tudu]. No fim, “뜨거워” [quente] repete a ideia de uma presença difícil de ignorar, enquanto o “What you gonna do when I come through with that?”
Have you ever had a crush that felt so intense it was almost dangerous? That's exactly what BLACKPINK is singing about in "PLAYING WITH FIRE." The song is a warning from a mother: "우리 엄만 매일 내게 말했어 / 언제나 남자 조심하라고" ("My mom told me every day / to always be careful with boys"). Why? Because love is like playing with fire, and you can get hurt.
But this warning just makes the feeling more exciting. The singer admits her attraction is stronger than her fear, and she's ready to risk it all. She feels her love is an unstoppable fire that she can't put out, singing "우리 사랑은 불장난" ("Our love is playing with fire"). It's a feeling that has gone from a small crush to a huge, uncontrollable blaze. She even asks him to add fuel to the fire, telling him to "불붙은 내 심장에 더 부어라 너란 기름" ("Pour more of your oil on my burning heart"). This isn't just a simple love song; it's about a love that's thrilling, all-consuming, and a little bit reckless.
BLACKPINK's "DDU-DU DDU-DU" is a massive anthem all about confidence and power. The whole song is built on the group's name: the contrast between being pretty ("Pink") and being fierce ("Black"). They state this directly in the lyrics: "Black 하면 Pink 우린 예쁘장한 Savage" (When you say Black, we say Pink, we're pretty savages). They warn you not to be fooled by their looks, saying they have a "착한 얼굴에 그렇지 못한 태도" (A pretty face but an attitude that's not). They aren't going to pretend to be nice just to please people.
The song is full of bold claims about their success and control. They say they're like a "물 만난 물고기" (a fish that's found water), meaning they're in their element and unstoppable. They even brag that your whole bucket list is something they've already bought! The title itself, "뚜두뚜두 두" (DDU-DU DDU-DU), is meant to sound like gunshots, which is their way of saying their impact is powerful and direct. It's a warning: if you wanted someone easy to deal with, you came to the wrong place.
Savage” [kun on Black, mukana on Pink; olemme kauniita villejä] tekee ryhmän nimestä itsevarman iskulauseen. He kulkevat suoraan eteenpäin eivätkä välitä muiden vihjeistä tai mielipiteistä.
Le refrain répète « Hit you with that 뚜두뚜두 » [je te frappe avec ce “tdu-tdu”].
U ovoj pesmi BLACKPINK odbacuje sliku „fine i poslušne devojke“. Odmah se čuje kontrast u stihu „착한 얼굴에 그렇지 못한 태도“ [naivno, dobro lice, ali stav koji nije takav].
Refren koristi „뚜두뚜두“ kao zvuk pucnja ili snažnog udarca, pa „Hit you with that 뚜두뚜두“ [udariću te tim zvukom tu-du-tu-du] zvuči kao upozorenje upakovano u zarazan ritam.
Onlar, "예쁘장한 Savage BLACKPINK!"
De advarer deg om å tenke deg om to ganger før du roter med dem, for de er som «물 만난 물고기» [fisk i vann] – de trives i sin egen styrke og er klare til å «Hit you with that 뚜두뚜두 두»!
A „DDU-DU-DDU-DU” magabiztos bemutatkozás: a BLACKPINK olyan lányokat mutat, akik kívül bájosnak tűnhetnek, de a hozzáállásuk sokkal keményebb. „착한 얼굴에 그렇지 못한 태도” [Jó arc, de nem hozzá illő viselkedés] után rögtön jön a „Black 하면 Pink, 우린 예쁘장한 Savage” [Ha Black, akkor Pink, mi csinos vadócok vagyunk]. A savage itt vagány, szelídíthetetlen embert jelent.
A refrén „뚜두뚜두” hangja egy játékos, lövésszerű hangutánzás a „Hit you with that” [Ezzel talállak el] sor mellett.
Il ritornello trasforma questa sicurezza in una minaccia giocosa: “Hit you with that 뚜두뚜두” [ti colpisco con quel “ddu-du ddu-du”].
