Janguear is a popular Spanglish verb meaning "to hang out". It's an excellent example of how English words are adapted into Spanish slang, especially in Puerto Rico, where it originated.
In the song, Bad Bunny invites someone to join him for a night out, singing, "Dile que esta noche vamos a janguear" (Tell her tonight we're going to hang out). Learning this word is a fun way to sound like a local and understand the modern, bilingual culture celebrated in reggaetón.
In "VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR," Bad Bunny meets someone in Brickell, a wealthy neighborhood in Miami, and immediately pitches a wild weekend trip back to his home island. He flexes his status right away, noting "aquí hay ticket" (there's money here) and telling her to bring her friend along too. The promise is simple and totally carefree: "Aquí nadie se va a casar / Pero tú te vas a querer quedar" (Nobody is getting married here, but you're going to want to stay). He brags that he is completely single ("soltero single") and boldly claims that once she parties with him in Puerto Rico, she will be deleting Tinder for good.
The energy stays rowdy as he describes leaving the club in broad daylight, fully dialed into party mode. He boasts about his roots at the end, shouting "Aquí nací yo y el reggaetón, pa' que sepas" (This is where I and reggaeton were born, just so you know). Throughout the track, he stacks up heavy Puerto Rican slang: janguear (to hang out or party), perrear (to dance to reggaeton grind-style), and nos fuimos algarete (we went totally wild and reckless). It is a direct, unfiltered invitation to experience the island's nightlife with the guy who claims he runs it.
